How SpotN Uses Your Google Account
You sign in to SpotN with Google. Beyond sign-in, SpotN asks for two Google permissions, and only uses them for actions you trigger yourself:
- Sign-in (name, email address, profile picture): to create your account and recognize you each time you log in.
- Send email on your behalf (Gmail,
gmail.send): to send the outreach emails you write or review in SpotN, and the follow-up sequences you set up, from your own Gmail address, so replies come back to you. SpotN never reads, lists, modifies or deletes your emails. - Files created by SpotN in your Google Drive (
drive.file): when you click "Create Sheet", SpotN creates a new Google Sheet with the leads you selected. It can only access the files it created, never the rest of your Drive.
Your Google data is never sold, never used for advertising, and never used to train AI models. You can remove SpotN's access at any time from your Google Account permissions. Details in our Privacy Policy.

Does SpotN work on mobile?
Yes, the whole app is fully responsive, including the pipeline and sequences views, whether you’re on a phone or a laptop.
Is it legal to collect this data?
SpotN only collects information businesses have made publicly available, no login walls, no bypassing privacy settings. That’s the same standard most ethical lead tools follow. If you operate in a highly regulated industry, we’d still recommend checking your own outreach practices against local rules.
How is this different from a lead database?
